A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our A1C Screening event! 🩸🩺

We had a fantastic turnout at the Amesbury Senior Community Center for our recent A1C Screening. Taking the time to monitor your blood sugar levels is such an important step in managing your health, and we are thrilled to see so many of our community members taking charge of their wellness!

A special shout-out of gratitude to our regional health nurse, Pamela Palombo, for providing these essential health checks and making the process so quick and easy.

It was wonderful to see these creative, unique gnomes take shape.

Didn’t make it today? Check out the glass display case in our hallway to see some samples of these fun, easy-to-make projects! 🧶✨

Community Kindness at Its Best!

We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Pond Hill Preschool and the amazing parents of the children who generously donated items for seniors in need. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity truly warmed our hearts and reminded us how powerful community connections can be. Our older adults are so grateful to know they are supported and cared for by such compassionate little neighbors and their families—this is what community love looks like!

Our annual holiday party was truly one to remember! With over 100 wonderful older adults in attendance, the day was filled with laughter, joy, and holiday cheer. From exciting raffles and fantastic entertainment by Kevin Wall, to a delicious meal and great company, the room was overflowing with fun and festive spirit.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration so special, especially our Amesbury Friends of the Amesbury Council on Aging, Inc. who made this all possible. We wouldn’t be who and what we are without you! We also want to give a special thank you to Karen Cameron for the amazing pictures and the Rotary Club for serving the lunch. We are so grateful for our amazing community—memories like these are what the season is all about!
