The day after, President Franklin Roosevelt delivered the "Day of Infamy Speech" and the United States entered World War II.

Today, we remember all of those who lost their lives on this day 81 years ago.

Christopher Pollard, a Patient Administration Specialist from the U.S. Army Recruiting Bangor Station, was at the Bangor State Fair recently, he noticed a fair-goer who had collapsed and was having a seizure. Staff Sgt. Pollard quickly provided first aid response and utilized his knowledge from basic training to help stabilize the patient by cooling him off until EMS arrives.
