Because of their generous support, 170 students will be recharged this week after their halftime performance with refreshments for both the Amherst Marching Comets and Buckeye Band during 3rd quarter.

IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS: We highly recommend purchasing a second show t-shirt in case of loss, damage, or those quick game-to-competition turnarounds. Students are required to wear an unaltered show shirt under their uniform and/or during parades.

Pick-Up: Date will be announced once we receive the ETA from our supplier.

Shakos will be available for purchase this week during evening practices from 6–9 PM!

We are beyond excited to DEBUT our brand-new marching band uniforms at our first game on August 21st at Sandusky!

But for now… here’s your SNEAK PEEK!

These uniforms have been made possible by the incredible generosity of our band families, community, donors, and Uniform Sponsors. We cannot thank you enough for helping make this dream a reality!

And we’re not done yet! Our next goal is to raise funds for NEW Color Guard uniforms and flag silks for next season.

Just one week ago, this group came together for the first time this season. After an incredible 1st week of Band Camp (8 AM–9 PM), they’ll be back at it again next week for week 2!

Thank you to everyone who cheered them on at Alumni Fest during their first performance of the 2026–2027 school year, and to everyone who stopped by the Amherst Bands booth to share your favorite band memories.
