⚽🏆 REMINDER POST: Amherst is excited to once again host the Super Cup 3v3 Soccer Tournament on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Spritzer Stadium!

Spritzer Stadium will be packed with fast-paced action as teams from across the region compete in a high-energy day of 3v3 soccer. Expect plenty of goals, intensity, and fun for both players and spectators.

Calling all future Comets entering grades 1-8 this fall! Join Amherst Steele Football for two days of skill development, teamwork, and fun with Coach Tom Thome, the Amherst coaching staff, and current varsity players.

⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Amherst Junior High Practice Field
💲 $40 (includes camp t-shirt)

Campers will learn:
🏈 Offensive and defensive position skills
🏈 Proper tackling techniques and form
🏈 Passing, catching, running, blocking, and footwork
🏈 Teamwork, discipline, and the foundations of Comet Football

Whether you're new to the game or looking to improve your skills, this camp is a great opportunity to learn, compete, and have fun with Amherst Steele Football!

📚👟 Lead and Learn: Literacy & Wellness on the Storybook Trail! 👟📚

Before break, our youngest and oldest Comets came together for a special Lead and Learn experience on the Storybook Trail!

As part of our Little Comet, Big Comet program, 8th-grade students took on leadership roles by guiding kindergarteners through a series of engaging literacy and wellness stations. Along the trail, students alternated between reading activities and movement-based challenges, creating a fun and active learning experience for everyone involved.

The event not only promoted literacy and healthy habits but also provided meaningful opportunities for mentorship, leadership, and connection between grade levels. Our kindergarten students looked up to their 8th-grade leaders, while our older students demonstrated the confidence, responsibility, and kindness that make Amherst Comets shine.
