We were formerly Souhegan Valley Resources and Nashua Employment and Training - Works, Inc. (Networks), each organization with over 25 years serving individuals in the towns of Amherst, Brookline, Greenville, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Merrimack, Milford, Mont Vernon, Nashua and Wilton. Opportunity Networks is excited to be selected as a beneficiary of the Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program for the month of June!

Throughout the month, every $3.00 reusable GIVE BACK bag purchased at Shaw’s 586 Nashua Street, Milford NH location will generate a $1 donation to Opportunity Networks. It’s an easy and meaningful way to support programs and services for adults with disabilities in our community while shopping for everyday essentials.

What started as frustration with a video game controller turned into an invention that could help others.

Fourteen-year-old Scott Merrow designed and built an adaptive VR controller to work with his limb difference, teaching himself through trial, error, and months of problem-solving alongside his uncle.

Now, the New Hampshire teen is sharing his work with others in the adaptive community—and heading to a national invention competition with a message that goes far beyond gaming: “Don’t give up. Just figure out another way.”
