On May 22, families, friends, staff, and community members gathered to celebrate the incredible Class of 2026 at the Amherst County High School graduation ceremony. The evening was filled with unforgettable moments as graduates crossed the stage and stepped into their next chapter. 💙💛

We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see the impact they will make in the future. Congratulations, graduates — your journey is just beginning! 🎉

Calling all future heroes! 🚨

The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office is gearing up for an action-packed First Responder Camp this summer for rising 4th–11th graders! Campers will step behind the caution tape and experience hands-on activities like fingerprint lifting, fire safety, defensive tactics, DUI goggles courses, field trips, and more. 🚓

📅 July 20–24 (Rising 7–11 graders)
📅 July 27–31 (Rising 4–6 graders)
⏰ Monday–Friday | 9 AM–3 PM
📍 Amherst County Sheriff’s Office

💲 Camp fee is just $30 and includes all activities, field trips, lunches, and snacks!

Applications are available at all schools and the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office. Space is limited, so sign up today!
