Buffalo Marine Officer

Buffalo Marine Officer If you are interested in learning more please visit www.marineofficer.com I am the Officer Selection Officer for Buffalo, New York. Thank you for being a fan

My job is to select highly motivated individuals to attend one of the top leadership programs in the world. I am looking for qualified college students and graduates to lead our nation’s greatest asset—our young Marines. The United States Marine Corps has been the elite branch of the Armed Forces since 1775. INC., the magazine for business entrepreneurs, characterized the Marine Corps Officer Prog

ram as “the best management training program in America.” (INC., April 1998) Applicants can be guaranteed options in Aviation, as well as Ground, Law or Reserve programs if qualified. The Marine Officer Candidate School is an elite leadership program that the top business schools look to for additional depth to their programs. Once you successfully complete this training, we’ll offer you a Presidential commission as a Marine Officer, at which time you decide either to accept this offer and become an active duty Marine Second Lieutenant or decline it to pursue other options. New officers may pursue one of a variety of career concentrations ranging from infantry to intelligence to logistics, but all positions provide new college graduates with immediate and substantial leadership training and experience and significant management opportunities. This is a position with full benefits and a very competitive compensation package. If you are looking for a challenge or an excellent way to kick start your career in corporate America, the Marine Corps can help. If you are interested, please select the "Welcome" tab on the pannel to the left to fill out an Eligibility Screening Form. You can also contact my office at (716) 633-1406

National Champions.
Same mindset. Different uniform.

Congratulations to St. Bonaventure Rugby on winning the 2025 Division I National Championship, dominating Queens 55–19 to bring the title home.

Rugby doesn’t produce spectators.
It produces leaders with:
• Physical toughness under pressure
• Team-first mentality
• Discipline when you’re exhausted
• Accountability when it matters

That’s the same DNA we look for in Marine Corps Officers.

If you’re someone who thrives in chaos, leads from the front, and wants something harder, bigger, and more meaningful after college — there’s a reason Marines and rugby players keep finding each other.

And we have an All-Marine rugby team for those interested in continuing to play while serving!

Champions don’t stop competing. They just raise the standard.

13 miles logged 🥾

Today, our candidates from across Western New York took on a 13-mile hike through the upper and lower falls at Letchworth State Park — pushing their endurance and mental toughness in preparation for Officer Candidates School (OCS).

Being part of the Marine Officer Program means more than just getting ready for OCS. It’s about building a network, developing leadership, and growing alongside others — all while remaining full-time students and active in sports or campus life.

At these events, prior-service and reserve Marines, along with candidates who’ve already completed part of OCS, pass down lessons learned to those still training. This exchange of experience builds the team dynamic and brotherhood that defines our community.

If you’re searching for that team, purpose, and challenge — come find it with us.
