The Town of Amherst Youth & Recreation Department is hosting the Youth Leadership Experience! This one-day event is packed with presentations and hands-on activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills.

Sat July 25, Noon- 3PM, the Town of Amherst is partnering with Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village to host a free, family-friendly 250th Anniversary Celebration! Featuring live music by the Red Blazers Men's Chorus from Noon-1pm, crafts & games with Amherst YES, and more! Guided tours of BNHV's Historic Village will also be available at scheduled intervals.

Join as we celebrate America's 250th anniversary!
This Saturday, July 25, from 12:00PM to 3:00PM, the Town of Amherst is partnering with Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village to host a fun-filled 250th Anniversary Celebration.

🎉 Shoutout to the Amherst Youth Consortium (AYC) honorees who contributed 25+ Volunteer & Leadership Hours in 2025-26! 🎉 All AYC students are visible role models for healthy living and pledge to be ni****ne, alcohol, and drug-free! We look forward to our joint meeting with AYC members later this summer!

Congratulations to the 36 Amherst Youth Consortium Outstanding members who were honored at a ceremony on Sunday, June 14th. Your dedication, service and commitment have made a positive impact throughout our community. We are so very proud of these young leaders.
