The Tangipahoa 4-H Junior Leaders Fundraiser that was supposed to be on Saturday, April 4th is being postponed due to some inclement weather. If you bought tickets please contact the junior leader that sold them to you or stop by the office in Amite to get your refund. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused!

🌟 4‑H Agent Spotlight: Megan Matherne – Tangipahoa Parish 🌟

Megan is one of the newest assets to the Southeast Region Team!

Having started in the position only 3 months ago, Megan has gone straight into the busy spring season.

Her favorite part of the job is seeing the smile on the children's face when they recognize their full potential. She also enjoys meeting with all of the parents.

Megan is most proud of her work ethic and determination to get her job done to the best of her ability.

She is most excited when she shows up for a new day of work to see what she can do for Tangipahoa 4-Hers that day.

Her favorite 4-H memory so far is helping one of the 4-H family's sheer sheep and get them ready for State and Southeast District Show.

Fun fact: Megan is what some people would call a pool shark.

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Pet Show Cancellation 🐾

Please be advised that the Tangipahoa Parish Pet Show, scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th, has been cancelled.

Our Parish Chair, Dr. Gary Hay, made this decision due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict with 4-H Fest. We want to ensure our community can focus fully on the upcoming Fest activities!
