An update on the Verizon Tower.
Here is the latest on when the antenna will be replaced on the city’s water tower. As per a conversation with an engineer at Verizon in Little Rock this is what is taking place. I removing the antenna a part was damaged. It was the cradle that the antenna sits on atop the tower. A new one had to be fabricated and that is what the delay has been about. The scheduled date for the delivery of this necessary part is September 28. I was told that just as soon as this comes in that the replacement would be scheduled. Certainly this does not help everyone now, but it is more information than we’ve had. Hopefully we will have good service again soon. If an update comes to us we will keep you posted.
