Modern scientific weather modification via cloud seeding began in 1946. Vincent Schaefer at General Electric discovered the dry ice method in lab based experiments that summer. He had conducted the first successful field test on November 13 by dropping dry ice from a plane into a cloud over New York and producing snow. Near the same time, Bernard Vonnegut developed the silver iodide technique.

Operational programs followed in the US and elsewhere. Idaho has been using cloud seeding methods since the early 1950s. This has primarily been in winter months to enhance mountain snowpacks for water supply. Idaho Power has been running projects since 2003.

Earlier ideas like 19th-century rain-making experiments existed although they lacked scientific evidence.

Today is - gather your friends and family and take them to the poles. Let's make this the best turnout Idaho has seen in the midterms.

I'd appreciate your vote today. It's the bottom of the 9th and Idaho needs a closer - a real steward of the people not just another politician.

I can't express how heartwarming it is to receive the support that I have. I look forward to an opportunity to serve the people of the beautiful state I call home.

It's not easy raising a family, running a business, and throwing your name into the political scene. I did it because I believe Idaho needs better stewards.

It's not about the money or the recognition. For me, entering into politics is about influencing a future for our children, grandchildren, and so on. Harboring a future that we can be proud to leave for generations to come.

No matter what happens this election, this campaign will continue - maybe not for the governor's race in 2026; but is just getting started.

I will continue to build on this platform for Idahoans. We can hold our government accountable, take the money out of politics, and serve our constituents with honor and integrity NOT backdoor political favors.
