HOLY COW! What an incredible gift to our community!
The Moose Creek Fire Camp generously donated a TON of their leftover food, and when we say a ton… we mean it! We had FIVE truckloads to bring back!
The food has already been divided between the Metcalf and Head Start, and we’re excited to share the abundance throughout our community. We’re looking forward to getting donations out to:
❤️ The Copper Closet with Anaconda Community Intervention
❤️ The Anaconda Food Bank
❤️ Little food pantries throughout our community
❤️ The Philipsburg Senior Citizens Center
❤️ Opportunity Fire Department
❤️ Anaconda Fire Department
❤️ And, hopefully, the Center for Excellence
A HUGE thank you to Kira and Rebecca from the Moose Creek Fire Camp for thinking of us and making sure this food could be put to good use! Your generosity is going to help so many people in our community.
This is what community looks like. When someone has more than they need, they share! And when people are willing to roll up their sleeves and help, amazing things happen!
The Metcalf is so incredibly blessed to have such wonderful people involved who are always willing to jump in and help make a difference. We couldn’t have done this without you!
A HUGE thank you to Jeri Herigstad, Pam Leighton, Larry Leighton, Julie Fanyak, Billie Holmlund, Heidi Ungaretti, Joe Ungaretti, and Ken Bates for helping make this happen!
This is the kind of generosity that makes a community strong. ❤️
