🐾 MEET SIMBA — CARNEGIE POLICE DEPARTMENT K9 🐾

We are proud to introduce Simba, a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois and the newest member of the Carnegie Police Department family.

Simba is a dual-purpose K9 and a certified narcotics detection K9, trained to assist law enforcement in keeping our officers and community safe. His training and capabilities allow him to assist with narcotics detection, searches, and other law enforcement operations.

Simba will be partnered with Assistant Chief Eddie Ramsey, who will serve as his handler. Together, they will continue training and working as a team to serve the citizens of Carnegie and the surrounding communities.

We are excited to have Simba on board and look forward to introducing him to our community! 🐕‍🦺🇺🇸

Today marks an incredible milestone—the 125th Anniversary of the Caddo County Sheriff's Office. It is an honor to celebrate the rich history, dedication, and service of the men and women who have faithfully protected and served our community for the past 125 years.

For 125 years, this office has stood as a symbol of service, sacrifice, and justice. Countless deputies, detention officers, dispatchers, administrative staff, and support personnel have each contributed to the history we celebrate today. Their dedication has built a foundation that continues to inspire those of us who serve here now.

While we honor those who came before us, we also look toward the future with the same commitment to excellence and service that has defined this office since its beginning.
