Started at 8AM ended about 3:30PM

Law. Once a wildlife animal has been taken in by a rehabilitator. WE CAN NOT GIVE IT BACK TO YOU!!!! We are NOT VETERINARIANS. We rehabilitate and release.

The definition of rehabilitation is; to provide temporary medical, physical, and nutritional care to sick, injured, or orphaned wild animals with the ultimate goal of releasing them back into their natural habitats.

Just because you thought I'd treat and give back even though I specifically said otherwise is no reason to get YOUR panties in a knot when I am not stupid enough to play your game!

They said I stole their child that they have had for a week and bond with. IT'S WILDLIFE.

They said we want her back we changed our minds. I DIDN'T AND ITS WILDLIFE.

They said stuff about their capabilities, that laws always change, that it would live longer in captivity. NO SHEEZE, IT'S WILDLIFE!

They wanted to take it to Animal Control who doesn't work with wildlife and in turn takes it to a rehabber!!! OH GUESS WHAT THATS ME!

I showed them the cameras and then got scolded, because I didn't take em on a tour, which the state of california says I cannot do, because I take care WILDLIFE!

They wanted to call AC, so I did! They said thats not an officer, so I called one of those too. Then they threaten me with the police, so I called them for them! Then they said they were going to call the agency that watches over animals, GUESS WHAT? Called her too.

Side Note; I can even imagine what she is going to think when she hears that message. Or what about the PD? I would love to see that inside note; uh 3 people are arguing over an Opossum? LOL

I do not know what I would have done today without Carol. She stayed the WHOLE TIME! So all the critters were cleaned and feed. This could have put me hours behind!!!

Way to go. Think of yourselves and not the 100 other WILDLIFE ANIMALS I am trying to take care of right now!

This is for real the longest post I have ever written. I am doing more for documentation. I could not get them to leave my property, took almost 3 hours to do so. Thank You PD.

So much more is in my head, that in all honesty should probably stay there. I get the inclination to want to keep him. But when you are crying in your car for half an hour because I am assessing and aiding an animal YOU brought Me, you don't get the right to camp on porch because you dont agree with the RULES AND LAWS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FISH & (Say it with me) WILDLIFE.........
