🌿 Monthly Food Distribution in Garden Grove

Yesterday morning we held our monthly drive through food distribution in Garden Grove at Islamic Society of Orange County - ISOC providing 500 families with a large box of essential food items.

During the school year, we’re often blessed with 75–100 volunteers, many of them local high school students who give their time through service clubs. But with schools out for the summer, we had just 26 volunteers yesterday, and it was an especially hot morning.

Those 26 volunteers stepped up in a big way. 💚 They worked hard in the heat, making sure every family was served and every box made it into the right car. Their help was absolutely essential to making the distribution possible.

A huge shout out and thank you to every volunteer who gave up their Saturday morning to serve our community. Your time, effort, and willingness to help, especially on a day like yesterday, made a real difference.

Thank you to everyone who continues to make these monthly distributions possible. 🤲

Empowering Our Community Through Employment! 💼

On August 4, 2026, Uplift Charity hosted a Resume Building & Job Search Workshop designed to equip community members with the tools and confidence needed to pursue meaningful employment.

During the workshop, participants learned how to:
📝 Build and strengthen their resumes
🔍 Search and apply for jobs effectively
💼 Prepare for interviews with confidence
💵 Understand pay stubs, taxes, and workplace expectations

We are proud of everyone who participated and took an important step toward achieving their career goals. Together, we continue to create opportunities, strengthen families, and build a brighter future for our community.

Good Morning Uplift supporters! 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the 45 volunteers who spent their Saturday morning at Islamic Society of Orange County - ISOC in Garden Grove serving our community. Together, we helped make life a little easier for hundreds of families with food boxes with essential cooking items and Ralphs gift cards.

Special thanks to our volunteers from Bolsa Grande High School Key Club and SMC, our MVPs Ayaan Alidina and Jameel Simji, and to the generous Uplift donors for funding this monthly project for 500 families. Thank you to SMC donors who provided 500 Ralphs gift cards.

Behind the scenes at Uplift Charity 💙
After a few busy weeks of hard work and serving our community, it was time for the team to come together for a well-deserved potluck. Moments like these give us the opportunity to unwind, connect, share a meal, and appreciate one another.
One of the best parts is getting to taste dishes from around the world. With such a diverse team, every potluck is an opportunity to experience different cultures through food and celebrate the unique backgrounds that make our office so special.
A little taste of everything brings a smile to our faces and fills our tummies. 🍽️💙 It’s always special to share with our community what happens behind the scenes. A happy team is a healthy team, and taking care of each other helps us continue showing up with the same passion, dedication, and heart as we serve you all
