Hello this is Michele. It has taken me some time to be able to write this post so please bare with me if I ramble on.

Horizon was started by the late Wanda Crow who saw the great need our senior population when it came to care. She wanted to make sure that they had the best care by the most amazing caregivers out there. Unfortunately Covid came along and hurt a lot of the small home care companies, caregivers who are passionate about working with the senior population became a lot harder to find. Horizon has had to make the hardest decision it has ever had to make. Unfortunately Horizon is closing their doors after all their years in business.

I want to say thank you to everyone at Horizon for giving me the opportunity to serve our Senior community for the last 11 years. I have met some amazing people and learned a lot form everyone in the senior community. It is truly a community of its own. To all those that I have met along the way I big thank you for trusting in me with your referrals, ,that has meant a lot to me. As most of you know my true passion is helping others. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I am currently looking for another position in the field, as well as looking at starting my own Care Management and Consulting business. We all know how families are so overwhelmed and need the guidance on how navigate the health care system, find the right person to care for their loved ones and how to properly protect their loved ones when working with caregivers, we all know it is always best to use a licensed company that has the same mission and values as the person they are caring for. If you know of anyone in need of Care Management or a company that is looking for a Care Manager, Operation Manager, Business Development, ECT... please let me know.

Again It has been such a great pleasure working with Horizon and all the wonderful people I have met along the way. My heart is so sad to see this company close. I will forever be grateful to all those I have worked with and met along the way. I hope to see you all out in the field soon.
