Action Alert:
Urge your lawmaker to vote ‘yes’ on AB 2551 and protect students’ free speech rights on California college campuses
Following campus protests over the past two and a half years, California State University (CSU) administrations instituted expanded Time, Place, and Manner (TPM) policies. These restrictive regulations were implemented with zero consultation from student government or faculty associations and effectively made peaceful protest nearly impossible on campus.
CAIR-CA is co-sponsoring Assembly Bill (AB) 2551 to ensure TPM restrictions are equally enforced across the CSU system. Thanks to your advocacy, the bill has successfully advanced through the legislative process and awaits a final vote from the State Assembly. If passed, AB 2551 will head to the Governor's desk.
