After a lot of thought, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 5th Annual Chester Humphrey Memorial Cook Off for this year. ❤️

While we’re disappointed, this is only a postponement! We’re already looking forward to coming back bigger and better on March 27, 2027! 🤠🔥 Mark your calendars and save the date!

However, we couldn’t let Chester’s birthday pass without getting together to celebrate the man who brought so many people together. ❤️

🎉 Join us for Chester’s Birthday Get-Together!

📅 September 24
⏰ Around 6:00 PM

We’re keeping it simple and doing it potluck style! Bring a dish to share, BYOB, bring your own chair, and come spend the evening with us celebrating Chester, sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying good company.

The cook off may have to wait until next year, but celebrating Chester doesn’t. ❤️

Please help us spread the word, and we hope to see everyone there! 🤠🎂

📣 NEW DATE ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

Based on community feedback, along with minimal participation and scheduling conflicts with other local events, we have made the decision to postpone the 5th Annual Chester Humphrey Memorial Cook-Off to Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Join us at Chester M. Humphrey Double Bayou Park as we honor Chester’s legacy with great food, fellowship, and friendly competition. This year’s event will be even more special as we celebrate Chester’s birthday, which falls on September 24th.

We appreciate everyone’s feedback, understanding, and continued support. Our goal is to make this event a success and ensure it remains a meaningful tradition for our community.

Mark your calendars, gather your cook teams, and get ready for a day filled with BBQ, memories, laughter, and celebration.

❤️ Honoring the Legacy. Celebrating the Life.
