Almost 70 Anamosa CSD staff and partners participated in a 3-day workshop to learn about strategies and tools for foundational community-building practices presented by Ali Hearn Coaching & Consulting. We will use these practices to help us improve our students' and staff's sense of belonging and safety in our school. Thank you to Camp Courageous for the beautiful events center. Some of the words used to describe how people felt at the end of the event were Hopeful, Refocused, and Excited. There was laughter and energy throughout the event!

🚨 URGENT - HELP NEEDED 🚨

We have an exciting day of Softball Tournament tomorrow and a really cool experience next Tuesday at the University of Iowa but unfortunately we have NO workers signed up to help. If you are a parent, relative, neighbor, retiree, or a proud member of the community that can help support these kids please consider taking a slot. No experience is necessary.

Tomorrow we need…
🎟️ Ticket Takers at 9:15am and another shift at 11:15am.
Press Box workers at 9:40 through the last game.

On Tuesday we also need Ticket Takers and help in the press box for our game at Pearl Field - what an amazing experience you could be a part of! Even if you can only give a couple of hours, it makes a massive difference for our student-athletes. Let’s show up for them!

Strawberry Hill students had a great day on Thursday with their field day activities. The weather was a little cooler so we had to cancel the water activities, but the kids had just as much fun with some of the new games that we brought down. There was even a magical unicorn that showed up to greet us as we came to field.
