First round of storms for today, 6-11-26, is headed our way from central Iowa. Current estimate of arrival is around 9am. These storms have a history of damage, make sure you are paying attention and stay safe!

Severe storms moving through SW Iowa will quickly move eastward reaching parts of E Iowa around 8 AM and then continuing ENE into IL by late AM. Swaths of damaging winds >70 mph are likely with embedded tornadoes also possible. Storms will be moving very fast and offer little time to act, so know ahead of time where you will shelter if a warning is issued.

Tornado Watch until 3pm, 6-11-26, for Jones County.
