Saturated grounds and multiple rounds of heavy rainfall poses an elevated flash flooding threat through Saturday. A Flood Watch remains in effect for much of the area through Saturday morning. Chances of rainfall exceeding 3 inches through Saturday is becoming likely (50-90%) between Highway 20 and Highway 34.

Rounds of thunderstorms will occur across the area through tonight. They will be heavy rain producers, with heavy rainfall likely laying out between Highway 30 and Highway 34. Torrential rainfall is expected with 1-3 inches likely and localized swaths of 3 to 5 inches possible. Some severe storms will also be possible, especially tonight with damaging wind.
