Libraries are sometimes referred to as "The People's University" for their free and accessible educational resources and programs. Anamosa Library & Learning Center patron Mark Husmann uses library computers to teach himself a second language, and keeps up with current events through our newspaper and magazine offerings.

Don't miss this fundraising event! Friends of the Library is presenting "An Afternoon with Jackie Kennedy" on Sunday, June 28th, from 1:30-4 p.m. Anamosa native Jennifer Beall will be performing this original monologue at the American Legion Hall, 300 Chamber Court.

Tickets are $35 and are available at the library's front desk. Please register before June 24th. Refreshments will be provided.

Celebrate the start of summer and join us at Wapsiana Park Saturday, May 30th from 4-6 p.m. to kickoff our Summer Reading Program, “Plant a Seed, Read!” See a police car, tour a firetruck, collect your lanyards and reading logs, and enjoy the free swim at Anamosa Aqua Court!
