Rural firefighting means that you don’t always get the privelages of having multiple hydrants to access your water source. Aprils training (late on the post) was heavily focused on flowing off multiple lines and our deluge gun and getting water of our porta tank, as well as not pictured running a direct line into the pump from another truck. Firefighters got a chance to take turns at the pump panel to get to the bare bones of how this process starts to flowing water off a porta tank. A good training to keep minds fresh on ways to keep water on hand.
