We’re excited to share a meaningful update from the Community Diaper Pantry, one of the organizations your support helps uplift every day.

A Recent Milestone Worth Celebrating
Thanks to community support, the Community Diaper Pantry distributes approximately 30,000 diapers per month and has distributed over 880,000 diapers since opening. Our program helps hundreds of caregivers keep their babies clean, healthy, and comfortable. This milestone represents more than supplies—it represents dignity, relief, and peace of mind for families.

Volunteer Opportunities
People can help us any time by volunteering to wrap diapers into sets of 25 for easy distribution on pantry days. Whether you wrap them in our office, or we drop off supplies to you & your party to wrap and be picked up later, this is a great team-building activity that supports our program immensely. We also welcome volunteers to help us hand out diapers and wipes to local families in need at the pantry van on Thursdays from 12-4pm. This is wonderful opportunity to give back, connect with neighbors, and see the direct impact of your generosity in action.

Did You Know?
Many people are surprised to learn that diapers are not covered by health insurance, SNAP, or WIC benefits. This makes diaper pantries a critical lifeline for families who are otherwise forced to choose between diapers and other basic needs like food or utilities.

🎉 Anchorage Diaper Bank just collected its 100,000th diaper! 🎉

In the four years since we began, our community has stepped up in a big way to support families in Anchorage by donating your leftover diapers.

Diaper need is not a small, individual problem. It is experienced by nearly half of families with young children and is the result of an economic system that is failing our families.

That’s why this milestone matters: every donated diaper helps ease the pressure on parents who are already navigating limited resources and tough choices.

We just packed up and shipped out our entire inventory (2,067 diapers) to support the Western Alaska families impacted by Typhoon Halong. Thank you to our partners at Alaska Center for Resource Families for making it happen 🙌🏼

Fresh Cup Playhouse was our first community partner over three years ago and has since helped us collect over 1️⃣0️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ diapers in their donation bin!!! Time for a refresh 🔄✨

We just turned 3 years old! So far we've collected over 74,000 diapers donated from generous individuals across Anchorage. That's 74,000 sighs of relief for parents who are stretched to make ends meet, and 74,000 unused diapers that may have otherwise been sitting in a landfill. It's an honor to serve this community 💖
