Educational Post Alert! We love to educate our community about the Notary Industry!
A Question we are asked most of the times when we are out on the field :)
What Is a Notarization?
A notarization is an official process performed by a Notary Public to help prevent fraud and protect the integrity of important documents.
When a document is notarized, the Notary verifies key facts about the signing, including:
✔️ The identity of the signer
✔️ The signer is acting willingly and understands what they are signing
✔️ The signature is properly completed (in person or remotely) - we do offer both.
A notarization creates a formal certificate that confirms these steps were followed.
It is "important to know" - A Notary "DOES NOT" verify the accuracy, legality, or validity of the document itself. Our role is to verify the signer is who they say they are & are signing on their own free will — NOT the contents of the document.
This protects individuals, businesses, and institutions by ensuring documents are executed properly and securely.
