UAA Child Welfare Academy is offering FOUR Strengthening Families Alaska (SFA) training events. SFA is designed for foster parents and professionals who work with parents, youth, and children. We hope you will join us, and please share this with others who may benefit from participating.

✈️ Travel stipends are available for the in-person Anchorage training on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply for a travel stipend when you register (a separate link will come up).

Do you have experience in child welfare and a passion for developing and supporting professionals? The UAA Child Welfare Academy is seeking a Trainer to help strengthen Alaska's child welfare workforce through high-quality training, consultation, and curriculum development.

We're looking for someone with:
✔️ Child welfare experience
✔️ Strong communication and facilitation skills
✔️ Knowledge of child welfare best practices and laws
✔️ A passion for learning and professional development

✨ This is a full-time, term-funded position with the University of Alaska and includes a competitive salary and excellent benefits, including health insurance, retirement, paid holidays, and tuition waivers.
