Alaskans need to let their Senators and Representatives know they support Senator French's SB135 to protect the victim's constitutional right to timely disposition of their case.

Sometimes crime victims or their families have to wait months or even years for justice because of delays in the trial process. An Alaska senator has introduced a bill to try to speed the process.

DNA solves another 23 year old cold case! This crime could have been solved much sooner if Hawaii collected DNA on all felony arrests! My heart goes out to this family as they wait for justice to be served.

52-year-old Gerald L. Austin of Honolulu was arrested Friday and charged with murder and s*x assault in connection with the July 1989 homicide of 81-year-old Edith Skinner. Police say DNA evidence linked the man to the crime. Monday, January 23, 2012.

Another anniversary has passed for the Connolly family. January 7th, 1978 Shelley Connolly was brutally r**ed and murdered. Her body was found by the railroad tracks out near McHugh Creek. We are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person/s responsible. Prayers to the Connolly family and friends. May justice soon be served.

No one should have to wait almost 5 years for their killer to be convicted.

The Hampden County District Attorney's Office says there may be a break in the unsolved 1993 murder of 10 year old Holly Piirainen.

Samantha Campbell, Bonnie's sister went on the Alaska Political Insider asking people to email, call or write Governor Sean Parnell asking him to declare a "State of Emergency" to rescue more than 390 children in Alaska from s*xual abuse and torture. Law enforcement know where these children are but only can investigate less than 2% of these crimes.

The Surviving Parents Coalition and Protect.org are asking Governor Parnell to declare a State of Emergency.
