It’s raining steel!💥

The Angels of Artillery from 2-377 PFAR pushed their limits during Table XII live fire and an air assault raid, showcasing rapid helicopter insertions, lightning-fast gun emplacements, and devastating precision fires in the rugged terrain of Donnelly Training Area. Their ability to strike, move, and strike again proves why our artillery remains battlefield dominant.

From the gun line to the maneuver force, these Soldiers deliver the lethal fires that clear the path for victory. Their skill, speed, and grit ensure the 11th Airborne Division’s Arctic Angels can fight and win anywhere.

The King of Battle stands ready.

Physical fitness is a cornerstone of our profession, and we take pride in highlighting those who exemplify it both on and off duty.

Spc Taydrion Cofer, a 13B assigned to 2-377th PFAR, recently showcased that dedication by competing in the Military, Police, and Firefighter Nationals Powerlifting Competition—where he brought home the gold medal in the 82.5kg weight class.

“I enjoy competing in powerlifting because it pushes me to grow both physically and mentally. In our profession, that drive to constantly improve and overcome challenges is essential and that’s what keeps me motivated to compete,” said Spc Cofer.

Today, we proudly welcome Command Sergeant Major Rick L. Greene as the incoming CSM of the 6th Brigade Engineer Battalion.

CSM Greene previously served as the Command Sergeant Major of the 70th BEB at Fort Wainwright. He now joins us at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, continuing his service as both a wolf and, now, a Spartan with Oak Battalion.

We extend a warm welcome to CSM Greene and his family, and we look forward to the leadership and accomplishments ahead.

Spartan Soldiers held a solemn memorial ceremony honoring the 77 Paratroopers who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the Global War on Terror. We remember their bravery, their dedication, and their enduring legacy. They will never be forgotten.

There is no higher calling than to stand in defense of freedom, even at the cost of one’s life. During Spartan Memorial Week, we pause to honor the warriors who walked that path before us—those whose courage became the foundation of our legacy.

Today, our paratroopers climbed the heights of Gold Star Peak for remembrance. The dog tags of our fallen hang atop the peak, overlooking the heart of Spartan Brigade.

As the days of tribute continue, carry their memory in your stride. Their spirit endures—in your tenacity, your purpose, your every step.

Instructions for Individuals Without a CAC:

Individuals who do not possess a Common Access Card (CAC) may contact Security Forces at 907-552-6910. When calling, they will be required to provide specific identifying information for a background check.

If the individual passes all security checks and is not disqualified from accessing the installation, their name will be added to the Base Entry List (BEL). This authorization permits them to bypass the Visitor Center and proceed directly to the gate.

At the gate, Security Forces personnel will verify the individual’s REAL ID-compliant credential against the BEL for entry.

Real ID is a very specific requirement.

List of REAL ID Compliant Identification:

• Current State, Territory, possession, or the District of Columbia Issued Driver’s or Non-Driver’s Identification with a Star

• Current CAC/Military Issued ID

• Current U.S. or Foreign Passport OR Passport Card

• Current Federal PIV

• Current Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)

• Current Federally recognized tribal-issued photo ID

• Current U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766)

Alt Combination of forms if NOT in possession of a REAL ID compliant identification:

• Physical original or certified copy of U.S. birth certificate issued by a state or local government bearing a raised seal AND Social Security Card

• Current Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) used in conjunction with a DL

• Current VHIC used in conjunction with a DL
