This should be a great program. It’s a talk by Bob Wallace, a former intelligence officer who has collected “spy stories” from Alaska. News of John’s passing today hit us very hard. He was a colleague in the Hickel Administration in the 1990’s, an amazing tennis player and Alaska champion, a brilliant assessor of the scene in politics and business, always had a good joke, and a tremendous host and friend. He will be missed in New York, Kentucky, Alaska, Florida and many more spots, as well as in the horse racing world where he and Mary Lou made a tremendous mark.

The longtime philanthropist and track personality died Monday at Saratoga Hospital with friend by his side.
