Update: A clarification from the Oval Office - The ban will apply only to foreign nationals and not to American citizens who had been screened before entering the country.

Edit: As of 6:07 pm 11 march 2020 President Donald Trump has said that the U.S. will suspend all travel from Europe to the United States for the next 30 days.

As of 11 march 2020 Italy is under a country wide lock down. Travel to and from Italy is limited to serious business or family concerns for example - a relative who is ill.
