ASD Families,
After many months of planning and hard work, some of our youngest students will begin to their transition back into classrooms on Jan. 19.
While a lot of progress has been made, we can't lose sight that we are on the one yard line of our first phase, but we aren't done. Getting students back in school and keeping ASD Symptom Free is truly a community effort.
During this long weekend, families should use this opportunity to familiarize themselves with our Home Screening Guidelines: https://asdk12.co/2XQFzK5. A good idea would be to put this on the fridge and to check it before sending your child to school each day.
If you haven't been to our Back In School page in a while, there is a lot useful information on transportation, school safety plans, family support, and more: https://www.asdk12.org/backinschool
Another good resource is our Health Services page (https://www.asdk12.org/domain/5372). This has all the instructional reminders and info on mask wearing, disinfecting, and staff safety guidelines.
If our community continues to mask up, physically distance, and keep our social bubbles small, together we can make the first phase of reopening a success!
