A student voice making an impact beyond Alaska!

Chugiak High School freshman Elara Bradley is taking her passion for advocacy all the way to the National Civics Bee, using her experience and ideas to bring attention to health issues related to darkness.

We’re proud to see Elara using her voice, civic knowledge and personal experience to advocate for positive change in her community and now on a national stage.

O'Malley Elementary School, Bear Valley Elementary School, Muldoon Elementary, Klatt Elementary, and Ravenwood Elementary along with others around ASD are celebrating Dolly Parton Day (9/25) with a little school spirit, a whole lot of funand staff getting in on the action, too passing out "cups of ambition" 💖

Dolly’s commitment to putting books in the hands of children while inspiring a love of reading and literacy through the Imagination Library is something worth celebrating, to 📚❤️

Best Beginnings Alaska is our local non-profit support bringing books to Alaskan children monthly.

So, on September 25, we’re bringing a little 9-to-5 energy to school with reading, learning and plenty of fun 🎶📚

The East Anchorage High School Story Squad is giving us an inside look at the Fall Pep & Homecoming Assembly that happened last week and they captured all their T-Bird pride, school spirit and hype!

Jalen, Lilly, Dhey and Ramona take us behind the scenes for the big moments, including the celebration of East’s brand-new remodeled gym 🏀 and a special ribbon cutting with T-Bird alumni back in the building!
