WARTRACE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Wartrace Volunteer Fire Department has been providing service and protecting the residents of the Town of Wartrace for well over 50 years. This has been done at no cost to the residents of Wartrace because of the endless hours of time and effort provided by the volunteer fire fighters, your mayor, and the Board of Alderman.
As the community continues to grow, the demands placed on the Wartrace Volunteer Fire Department have increased and so has the financial burden. The main source of revenue comes from fund raising events and donations. Therefore, we are actively seeking volunteers for the following:
-Volunteer fire fighters who are already certified or volunteers who would like to become certified volunteer fire fighters;
-Volunteers who can give of their time with fundraisers, special events, etc.;
-Volunteers who could donate their time and expertise for station repairs/improvements; and
-Any businesses/individuals who could donate materials for station repairs and improvements.
In addition, any monetary donations to the Wartrace Volunteer Fire Department would be greatly appreciated as well.
If you have any questions or if you need more information, please contact Fire Chief Mike De Jesus at the fire station #(931) 389-6680 or by email: [email protected] or contact Wartrace Town Hall #(931) 389-6144. If we are not available to answer your call, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. Thank you.
