🚧 Road Closure Notice – 61st & Huntington Intersection 🚧

Dear Andale Residents,
The City of Andale Public Works Department will be closing the intersection at 61st Street and Huntington from Tuesday March 17 through Wednesday March 25 for essential road construction work.

Dear Community,

Our local playground includes a special JennSwing – a specialized playground swing seat designed specifically for children with special needs. It offers enhanced support and safety with a reclined, body-embracing design and an adjustable safety harness, meeting ADA accessibility guidelines so that every child has the opportunity to enjoy swinging.

Misuse of the ADA swing will not be tolerated, as it undermines inclusivity in our shared playground. If you see improper use, kindly remind families or report it to Andale Public Works.

Let’s work together to ensure our playground is welcoming and accessible for ALL children. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

⭐️ City of Andale: Sewer Cleaning Notice ⭐️

Residents West of Main Street

Sewer main cleaning: Dec 16–18, 2025, starting ~7 AM daily (weather permitting).

This prevents blockages.
Rare Issue: Pressure/vacuum may cause splashing from toilets/drains or odors (if vents blocked).

Quick Precautions:
• Cover floor drains with weighted plastic.
• Cover toilets with plastic & keep lid down.
• Run water in drains if odors occur.
Use water/drains normally.

Happy 124th Birthday, Andale!

On Oct. 7, 1901, the City of Andale was incorporated. Previously a chartered territory, it steadily grew as the railroad developed. Andale increased in population for more than a century to its current number of about 900 while still maintaining its small-town charm.

Andale Parents!

While we do support the fight against ni****ne, please do not flush your kids v**e down the toilet. They will end up jamming up the pumps in the lift station and your public works team will get covered in p**p removing it!
