U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Lake Hartwell The USCG Auxiliary is the Recreational Boater Safety arm of the United States Coast Guard. Welcome to Flotilla 25. Please drop in and talk with us! Commander T.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is the civilian volunteer arm of the United States Coast Guard. It is made up of over 30,000 men and women who donate their time and expertise to support the Coast Guard and improve recreational boating safety. Auxiliary members will actively participate with safety patrols on local waterways, assist in Search and Rescue, teach boating safety classes, conduct free vessel

safety checks for the public, provide boating safety literature to dealers, as well as many other activities related to recreational boating safety. The Auxiliary is open to persons 17 years of age and older. We are organized into 16 districts nationwide, comprised of 171 divisions with approximately 980 flotillas. This flotilla serves the upstate of South Carolina and northeast Georgia. Flotilla 25 meets monthly, usually on the 4th Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Jay Harlos, Flotilla Commander
