Things sure have been busy here at Clear Fire Emergency Services ! Some congratulatory celebration for newly promoted. Congratulations to our new Assistant Chief of Prevention, Jesse Eichenlaub. Newly promoted Assistant of Operations, Dan Lepley. Jimmy Lepley and Evan Johnston get promoted to Lead Firefighter. Military as well to get promoted was Kevin Munoz to put on his Staff Sergant stripe. Congratulations to all, and thank you to everyone who came out to show their support !

New Engine 4 received its blessing this morning and was pushed into its new home !

Firefighters push their new fire trucks into the station as part of a long-standing fire service tradition that honors the past. The custom dates back to the 1800s, when fire engines were horse-drawn. After returning from a call, the horses couldn’t back the heavy wagons into the station, so firefighters had to manually push them in.

Today, departments continue the “push-in” ceremony as a symbolic gesture of teamwork, pride, and respect for those who came before. It marks the official welcoming of a new apparatus into service and celebrates the unity and history of the firehouse.

Today at the station we held a 9/11 rembreence ceremony. Thank you to all that participated and other that came to remember. Thank you to SSgt. Robert Kirkpatrick for getting this together for us.

Clear Fire and Clear Space Force Station recently recognized two individuals for their federal service time. Johnathan West was recognized for 15 years of service and Chris Carlon was recognized for 20 years of federal service.

Clear Fire Emergency Services recently said goodbye to 2 phenomenal military members. Simon Grimes and John Waddell spent the last year forging the path for everyone else to follow. Throughout their service here they consistently displayed the greatest qualities sought after within the Air Force and the fire service. Knowledgeable, competent and confident in their jobs, ready and willing to take on anything thrown at them, and consistently the people anyone could go to for answers, these members of our department will be greatly missed and we wish them the absolute best in their next adventures and their careers in the Air Force Fire Service, and beyond. Their presence will be greatly missed.

Military Fire Officer of the Year: TSgt John Waddell

Civilian Fire Officer of the year: Dan Lepley

Military Firefighter of the year: Isaiah Hoege

Civilian Firefighter of the year: Evan McCabe

Civilian Firefighter of the quarter, final quarter: Jimmy Lepley

The awardees listed above were recognized for their knowledge and dedication to the fire service, Clear Fire Department, and Clear Space Force Station.
