Our Grimes County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers are spending part of their summer participating in School-Based Law Enforcement (SBLE) training. This specialized training helps ensure our officers are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in school safety, emergency response, student engagement, and de-escalation techniques.

We appreciate their dedication to professional development and their commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for our students, staff, and community. Thank you, SROs, for all you do!

This Memorial Day, the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office stands in solemn remembrance of the brave servicemen and women who laid down their lives in defense of our nation.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a day off — it is a time to honor the fallen heroes who never made it home, and the families who continue to carry their memory. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we cherish every day.

To our veterans, active duty military, and Gold Star families: we thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your unwavering dedication to this country.
