I thought I'd share a few upcoming events for DownTown A- Town.
There's literally so many options of things to do through the rest of this month I'd have to make post 3 pages long! So what you see here is just a quick variety of what's coming up downtown. You should certainly follow each individual business to see their full offerings!
Now I better not hear anybody say "there's nothing to do" 😂😂

There is PLENTY to do for everyone!

Representatives from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be at the library on Friday, October 16 from 9am-4:30pm to assist with disaster loan and grant applications, answer questions, and connect you with recovery resources!

Thanks to the nearly 100 of you who showed up to celebrate local Hoosier cartoonists for Hoosier Funny Fest, in collaboration with The Funny Pages exhibit at Anderson Museum of Art! We chatted one-on-one with local cartoon artists about their work, attended a panel discussion that Dee Parson hosted with artists Christina Blanch (Aw Yeah Comics- Muncie), Sterling Clark (Studio S Productions), Ed Cho and Lee Cherolis (Little Guardians), and Wes Molebash, and learned from "Supr Dee" about drawing and writing comics before practicing making our own.

In 1953, Haunted High School closed its doors due to odd occurrences around the school. A later investigation linked all of these events to a strange box that randomly appeared in the homeroom of Eunice Lugosi. A similar box appeared in your room today… can you open the box to break the curse of Haunted High School before it’s too late?

We reached college students for Library Card Sign-Up Month at Anderson University, popped up at local spots around town like First Friday, Tienda & Reposteria Mary, and the Community Center at AFC, hosted art and STEM programs for children and adults, led digital school card trainings, and more!
