It’s official for the first time in many years I am no longer a paramedic. It was fun for many years until politics took over the business. I miss my friends but I didn’t not miss the business. I learned a lot about life over the years. Many things I wish I could forget and some I cherish. Thank you to all who had a major part in my career you know who you are.

Here we are through almost half of the month of January and statistics state that 72% of Americans have already broken their New Year's resolutions. Scripture tells that their is someone who always keeps His promise. He will never leave you or forsake you. If you are searching for peace, Johnnie or myself will be glad to speak with you. All too often, we tend to get complacent in our walk. What am I speaking of when I say "our walk"? To sum it up, EVERYTHING!!! This past 48 hours have left my heart burdened for one of our crews out of the Murrell's Inlet station, a family of a patient they were transporting and a community that mourns the loss of a friend and family member. Prayers are needed for all. Make your "walk" pleasing unto God. The Bible tells us that our days on this Earth are short and that no man knows the number of those days. We are not promised tomorrow so " walk " with God today.

Daniel Brown (recent former employee from Greenville division) asked me to pass this along: His spouse Melissa died unexpectedly earlier this morning Feb. 17. She had been doing much better but took a sudden turn for the worse last night. Daniel does not want anybody calling him yet at this time. He desires time to grieve before talking to others.
