🚑🩺🏥IT’S NATIONAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK! 🚑🩺🏥
EMS Week is a chance to recognize the people who can somehow function at 3:00 a.m., interpret a cardiac rhythm bouncing down the highway, calm a chaotic scene in seconds… and still argue over where to stop for coffee afterward.
At the Anderson Fire Department, we are incredibly thankful for the relationships and partnerships we share with Medshore Ambulance Service and Anderson County Emergency Medical Services. Day after day, call after call, we work side by side with some of the most dedicated EMTs and Paramedics around.
There may be a little friendly firehouse rivalry from time to time — and yes, we know somebody from EMS is probably still looking for their missing trauma shears — but when the tones drop, the teamwork, professionalism, and trust between our agencies is second to none.
Together, we’ve shared long shifts, difficult calls, lifesaving moments, and plenty of laughter in between. More importantly, we’ve shared a commitment to taking care of this community and the people who call it home.
To all EMTs and Paramedics during EMS Week: thank you for your compassion, skill, sacrifice, and partnership. The Anderson Fire Department is proud to work alongside you every day.
