Deputy Lucas Watts' life was forever changed on November 16, 2023. We were proud to stand in the courtroom yesterday with him and deputies from the Oconee County Sheriff's Office - SC, the Pickens County Sheriff's Office (SC), and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office as justice was served in this case. Thankfully, a violent criminal with no regard for the rule of law or the sanctity of human life is gone from our community forever.

Another drug dealer headed to prison in Oconee

***GUILTY***
Amy Vilardi has been found guilty on all four counts of murder for the brutal killings of Mike & Cathy Scott, Barbara Scott and Violet Taylor. She will now face 4 concurrent sentences of life in prison. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office for prosecuting this case and we continue to stand with the victims’ family.
