Honoring Dedicated Service

Micah E. Black, 10th Judicial Circuit Solicitor, recently presented Steven R. Gambrell, who previously served as an Investigator with the Anderson County Solicitor’s Office for the Tenth Judicial Circuit and now serves as Chief of Police for the Honea Path Police Department, with a plaque recognizing his dedicated service.

Deputy Lucas Watts' life was forever changed on November 16, 2023. We were proud to stand in the courtroom yesterday with him and deputies from the Oconee County Sheriff's Office - SC, the Pickens County Sheriff's Office (SC), and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office as justice was served in this case. Thankfully, a violent criminal with no regard for the rule of law or the sanctity of human life is gone from our community forever.
