It is now being maintained by a group of ladies who are passionate about sharing their love of reading.

📚✨ THE LITTLE FREE LIBRARY IS BACK! ✨📚

Our local Little Free Library, formerly known as The Whoville Book Box, has officially been repainted and renamed The County Book Nook!

Good news: the sticky texture is gone (turns out that stuff didn’t survive the elements 😅). Bad news: it currently smells a little citrusy — sorry about that!

We got the book box back up yesterday evening, but I hadn’t had a chance to restock books and trinkets until this morning. To my surprise, someone had already stopped by and left children’s books inside. Whoever you are — thank you. It is so deeply appreciated and such a reminder of how loved our little library truly is. ♥️

A huge thank you as well to everyone who has donated books and helped keep our Little Free Library stocked over time. Your generosity helps make this such a special little spot for our community.

Help us rename our local Little Free Library. 📚

Last year, I took over ownership of our local Little Free Library and it was given some much needed TLC. It was originally The Whoville Book Box with a Dr. Seuss theme, but after repainting and refreshing the box, it’s time for a new name before it goes back out for the community to enjoy.

Our Little Free Library is stuffed! Y’all should stop on by and grab a book or two. My poetry besties first poetry collection is in there, go snag it for yourself and come back here and we can gush about our favorite pieces within the collection. ☺️ 💜

While out and about the other day, I stopped by a couple of the LFL in Neosho and one in Goodman and left some books in each. 📚
