He was a habitual relapser, cycling in and out of treatment. After being asked to leave campus due to his struggles, he found refuge at the warming center. Faced with an ultimatum, he chose to try again, and his community was ready to support his recovery journey.

When behaviors led to exclusion, an ultimatum offered a path to recovery. Embracing dual diagnosis and consistent effort, he regained campus presence, secured a job, and earned his own place through a supportive housing initiative. This is the power of readiness meeting opportunity.

This Mother’s Day, we honor the strength, resilience, and love of mothers working to rebuild their lives.

At The Well, women and their children find more than shelter; they find safety, support, and a path forward. Here, mothers receive:

🔹Safe, stable housing for their families
🔹Daily meals and care
🔹Personalized case management and support
🔹Parenting guidance and life skills resources

With the support of our community, families are moving from uncertainty toward independence and hope.

Spring has a way of reminding us that even after the hardest seasons, something new can begin.

At The Christian Center, we see that kind of renewal every day. Through programs like The Well, women and children find safety, support, and a fresh start when they need it most.

This Easter season, we are reminded that hope is not out of reach and new beginnings are always possible.

If you or someone you know needs support, or if you would like to be part of these stories of restoration, we are here: thechristiancenter.org
