I am very thankful for those that have served and for those still serving. We are blessed to have many amazing veterans throughout our community. We are also blessed with many veterans that work at our office as deputy sheriffs or support staff. We appreciate their service and sacrifices, not just today, but everyday. May God bless each and every one of them.

Let us never forget those that paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we enjoy. These heroes did not get to come back home to their families, to their children, to their friends or their communities. Some never had the chance to become fathers or mothers. So, please take a moment to reflect and appreciate their sacrifices that were made on our behalf.
