The August 2026 City Council meeting has been rescheduled. The meeting will be held on Monday, August 10th instead of Monday, August 3rd. The meeting will be held in the Conference Room in the Depot (114 Church St., Andersonville, Ga) at 6:00 PM. All meetings are open to the public.

Congratulations to the Grace Church of Perry Youth Group for setting the fastest escape room time during our Revolutionary War & War of 1812 Weekend with an incredible 18 minutes, 18.3 seconds!

Join us every weekend in July to test your skills in our Revolutionary War Escape Room. Adult and kid's versions are available, and 30-minute time slots can be reserved in person only on the day of your visit.

Tomorrow is Independence Weekend at Andersonville National Historic Site

Join us July 4–5 for a weekend of Revolutionary War history and interactive activities.

Take on the Step Into History Puzzle Room and work together to solve historical challenges and mysteries inspired by the American Revolution. Puzzle room time slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis through in-person sign-up during the event.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend.
