YES! The IDT Energy refund letter is real.
Most are under $5, but that is your money.

There are 173 customers in Andover Borough that are due a refund due to an administrative billing error which inadvertently discontinued one billing cycle earlier than intended during the change over to another provider.

Residents in Andover Borough, who use the services of JCP&L AND also have not independently selected a different energy provider (as per the New Jersey Electric Discount and Energy Competition Act), are automatically included in a multi town energy aggregation plan monitored by Concord Energy Services. That plan provides that the price per kilowatt will be either the same price as JCP&L or lower, BUT never higher.
