Today, 15 members of the Andover Fire Department came together in Wyoming to participate in the Stomp Out Su***de Walk.
This event holds a special meaning for us because mental health and su***de have touched so many lives in our community, our families, and within the emergency services. It’s a powerful reminder that sometimes the people standing beside us may be carrying struggles we cannot see.
We want everyone to know that you are never alone. There are people who care, resources available, and help waiting for those who are struggling — as well as for those supporting someone they love.
Please, please, please… reach out. Talk to someone. Ask for help. Check on your friends. Check on your family. And if someone reaches out to you, listen.
One conversation can make a difference. One person can make a difference. You can make a difference.
