South Main will be closed for several hours, use Gibbs Rd as bypass and Stillman Ave as a return road

Andover Village Residents: Clean up starts today, May 8th, and tomorrow, May 9th. Village residents can drop off behind the Village Hall, on Maple Ave, on May 8 from 8am to 4pm and May 9 from 8am to 2 pm. No tires / paint / household trash.

Andover Township Residents: Clean Up days are May 8 from 8am - 5pm and May 9 from 8am - 12pm, drop off location is behind the Township Hall located at 410 East Main.

If anyone has tires that they need to get rid of, you can take them to the County Fairgrounds tomorrow (May 9th) from 9am -1pm. First four tires are free, $1.00 per tire after the first four and a maximum of ten tires. No rims, and no oversize tires (over 22”)

Just a reminder of the detour around the Rt. 7 Rd closure just before the square. The local detour route goes through a residential neighborhood with children that play outside and ride their bikes, PLEASE SLOW DOWN!!
Unfortunately the closure looks like it could last 3-4 months. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.

Local vehicle traffic: ( NO TRUCKS ) use Gates St and Maple Ave as a alternative route as well as Owen Hill to Stanhope or Fenkell Rd to Pymatuning Lake Rd.
For Trucks: The detour is U.S. 6 to SR 193 north to SR 167 east to SR 7 south.

Ohio Department of Transportation will be closing SR 7 / US 6 also known as North Main between Public Square and Maple Ave due to a hazardous culvert / bridge in need of repair. Local vehicle traffic ( NO TRUCKS ) can use Gates St and Maple Ave as a alternative route as well as Owen Hill to Stanhope / Fenkell Rd to Pymatuning Lake Rd. O.D.O.T will determine the detour for all other traffic. Extra attention will be placed on the side streets to maintain the speed limits.
