Local Cultural Council (LCC) grants are available through the Mass Cultural Council for projects that advance the arts, heritage, and humanities in Massachusetts. To apply, you must submit an online application through the Mass Cultural Council portal by October 16, 2025.

Highlights of the 2025 grant awards
Variety of programs: The funding supported a diverse range of projects, including music, performing arts, visual arts, and history.

Recipient examples:
- Music for Andover Farmers Market: The Merrimack Valley Community Music School received $3,000 for live music performances.
- Andover-At-Work: Photographer David Whitney was awarded $3,000 for a photography project.
- 2025 Summer Concert Series: The Society for Historically Informed Performance (SoHIP) received $1,000 for its summer series.
- Youth Sustainability Fair: Andover WECAN received $750.
- Teaching Ukulele to Seniors: The Andover Senior Center received $250 for ukulele lessons.
- Chinese New Year Celebration: The Chinese Cultural Exchange of the Andovers received $1,200 for a festival.

Andover Cultural Council (ACC) supports excellence, access, education, & diversity in the arts, humanities, & interpretive sciences, & seeks to fund a range of projects that have a lasting cultural benefit to the town of Andover & support working artists.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY: Individuals, artists, artist groups, arts and cultural organizations, community organizations, nonprofit organizations, associations that can establish a nonprofit objective, public schools, libraries, and other municipal agencies are eligible to apply.

Visit us at Andover Days to learn more about the annual grant application cycle and becoming a member of the Andover Cultural Council!

Andover Day is just 24 hours away! Don't miss out on the action tomorrow as Main Street transforms into a vibrant hub of activity filled with food, live entertainment, and activities for all ages. The Andover Select Board and several Town departments will be set up in front of Old Town Hall near the corner of Barnard Street. Head behind Old Town Hall to check out a full lineup of live performances on the Main Stage, plus a beer and wine garden.

Andover Day will take place from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Main Street will be closed from Elm Square to Locke Street for the event, along with portions of several cross streets in Downtown.
