The Andover Fire Department would like to thank our generous community for all of your support. Last night we held another 400 Club event where all 400 tickets were sold. That kind of support doesn't happen in every town. But, year after year, we continue to sell out. Thank you, and congratulations to all of the winners.

This morning, we were also grateful to accept a donation towards a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to be installed in our hall and available for all events. This donation was gathered through the Vacation Bible Study program from this past summer, and through donations from our local churches. We are very appreciative and thankful for all of this support.

It is our honor to serve this great community. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to help us be able to do so safely.

Deeds Not Words

This year's 400 Club Party is coming up on Saturday, Sep 20th. It will have a few small changes. We would like to make sure you are aware of them before you arrive.

The start time is 3:00 pm. Make sure you are there to enjoy the afternoon with us.

Your 400 Club ticket has two meal tickets on it. These tickets will be required for you to claim your dinner at the party. Please bring your ticket with you to be checked in.

There will be no "takeout meals" allowed. Our meal is provided for guests to enjoy while they are at the party. Please have a seat, talk to your friends, and enjoy your meal while you are there.

Best of luck to all who have tickets. Thank you for the continued support. If you don't have a ticket yet: search out a firefighter, or stop in to Andover Hardware, Affordable Auto, or Steve's Gas & Grub.

This week, OFPC is participating in Safety Stand Down Week, a week that highlights critical safety, health & survival issues for fire & emergency services personnel. Today's topic is EMPOWER.
