Pymatuning Valley Local School District students going into 5th - 8th grades have an exciting extra incentive to complete their Summer Reading Goals this year! Pymatuning Valley Middle School kids who register at the library, complete both reading logs, and turn it in to the library when done are eligible to go on a field trip to Extreme Air Jump Park!

Well Boom! 🧨💥 We had a blast creating "firecrackers" out of upcycled cans. These are going to be so cute at a summer picnic.
Crafternoon returns after Summer Reading on Thursday, August 13th at 2 PM.

Maria is at the Pymatuning Valley High School during lunch periods today! PV High Schoolers have an extra incentive to register for Summer Reading and complete their goals ... entry into a drawing for a $200 Visa Gift Card. Ask your teen if they signed up.

The raptors are coming! Live birds of prey at the Andover Public Library on Saturday, May 30th! 🦉
Join us at 11 AM asking Tamarack Wildlife Rehabilitation hosts Wings of Wonder.
Weather permitting, the event will be in the library yard. All community members are welcome to attend this free event as we kick-off the 2026 Summer Reading Unearth A Story!

Monday:
• Come play cards with us! 12 - 3 PM

Wednesday:
• Teens! Play Dungeons & Dragons with Jessie at 3 PM
• Get involved! Join us at our monthly Friends of the Library meeting at 4 PM

Thursday:
• May's Crafternoon project is a DIY Firecracker decoration using a clean empty can. Bring your own! 2 PM (no registration is needed)

Friday:
• Teen DIY Bracelet Workshop 3 PM - Fabric bangles and Faux Leather Designs for both girls and boys - registration is needed - https://andover-lib.libcal.com/event/16610476sign

Saturday:
• Magic the Gathering Game Playing - Free decks and more for kids ages 10 - 18 (while supplies last)

May Crafternoon
Thursday, May 14th at 2 PM • Adults and Teens

DIY Can Firecracker Craft • Bring your own clean and empty cans (with one end removed), we’ll provide the rest to create some cute little “firecrackers”. No registration is needed.

We have a native Buckeye tree ready to make our library yard it's home. We'll be planting it once the weather cooperates!

😔We said goodbye today to the maple🍁 that has stood in front of the Library. While we will miss the giant beauty, its roots were damaging the library's foundation.
The tree removal and stump grinding were funded through a community donor.
